A Remix in 2010

Currently everything that you have known about FEEDtheMUSIC is being updated and worked on.  You could say that for the next few months we are going to be on “pause” but meanwhile, behind the scenes we are doing nothing but building.  What we have for you is amazing, including all of our videos, pictures and write up of 2009’s shows, new website with album reviews and music recommendations.  We are currently seeking sponsors (like Wahoo’s or Del Taco).  And I don’t want to even leak the idea of a reality TV show…

With new vision and a new way to bring music to the people we are excited about many more opportunities that we have dreamed up.

Let’s face it. Tomorrow’s Hip-hop show at FEEDtheMUSIC may be your last non-holiday party/concert of 2009 - so you gotta change that “maybe” to a “heck ya - I’m going to rock it all night long with Manafest and Flynn Adam!”

Am I being a little too extreme. No. This is going to be the show to tell your grandbabies-babies.

Yes.

Alright.

See you there.

OCT. 8th - Reggae w/ Rootdown
(From Left to Right: Matt Salinas, Craig Paulsen, Jackson Michelson, Paul Wright)
If you are looking for a good time and some live music then you need to come to a ROOTDOWN show. The infectious enthusiasm of the group’s performance will have you smiling and moving your feet from the door to the dance floor. Combining elements of pop, rock and reggae ROOTDOWN’s music creates an excellent backdrop to your day. Their live performance is like a vibrant mood of sunshine even where it rains most of the year… Oregon.
Created in the summer of 2007 by solo national touring/recording artist Paul Wright ROOTDOWN is a four-piece band that also features a special guest horn section on live shows. Since conception their live show has caused a quick buzz as they have been asked to open for Pepper, Passafire, The Wailers and many more gracing many different venues.
ROOTDOWN’s music falls into the “pop/rock/reggae” category of band and genre, a well-developed musical culture with roots stretching back to the early days of Bob Marley, through the years of Sublime, and into today with many different bands spearheading the direction like Pepper and Slightly Stoopid. Think Beastie Boys meets Beach Boys.
